Winsome Gunning Art Walk

`My work is about listening to that quiet voice within. At times themes emerge which I feel drawn to develop but always my work is about discovering this spirit and listening to its promptings. It is a daily walk to keep myself clear of the blocks which stop this connection.’ Read more...

This is my quote on my EBay Store Page but I have been walking away from this simpliciity in my day to day activities of late. My apartment is on the market and I’m looking for a new home along with my usual activities. Last week I was negotiating a contract on another property. It didn’t go through but it took much focus and energy. Read more...

That quiet place from which my images flow with surprise and energy. For sometime I have been feeling the need to move, and now I am feeling it so strongly that I am putting it into action. It is a strange feeling of rightness and that whatever you were meant to achieve in your current place of residence is over. So often early in my career I would stay in jobs I hated purely for security. It took the knocks of life to teach me that our only security lies in that quiet spirit that gives us inspiration and guidance. That creative spirit that gives each of us the potential to create art and lifes full of beauty and power. I am not saying it is easy to change, but I am saying it is easier than allowing life to force change on us. Read more...
